Payment terms
The terms that apply when you pay us through this page.
These terms cover payments made through pay.greatsouthlanddesign.com.au. They sit alongside whatever we have already agreed with you about your website, they do not replace it, and if the two ever disagree then what we agreed with you wins.
Who you are paying
You are paying Great South Land Design, an Australian business. Payments are processed by Stripe, who handle the card and pass the money on to us. Your statement will show Great South Land Design.
One off payments
A payment made on the Pay once off page is taken once and that's the end of it. Nothing is stored for next time, nothing recurs, and no arrangement is set up.
Enter the amount shown on your invoice. If you pay part of it, tell us the invoice number so we can match it up, and the balance stays owing.
Recurring payments
A recurring payment is an arrangement with Stripe to take the same amount from the same card on the same date, either every month or every year - you choose which when you set it up. The first payment is taken straight away, and the date you set it up becomes the date it comes out from then on.
It keeps going until somebody stops it. There's no fixed term and no minimum number of months, but equally it doesn't expire on its own.
While a recurring payment is running you won't be invoiced separately for the same thing.
Stopping or changing a recurring payment
Ring Anthony on 0419 169 550 or email anthony@greatsouthlanddesign.com.au. We'll stop it or change it, usually the same day.
There's nothing on this website that can stop it, and that's on purpose: it means there's no login for somebody else to get into and no button to press by accident. Tell us and it's done.
Stopping the payment stops the money. It doesn't by itself cancel your hosting, and cancelling your hosting is a separate conversation - so say which one you mean.
If a payment fails
Cards expire and get cancelled. If a recurring payment doesn't go through, Stripe tries again over the following couple of weeks and emails you about it. If it keeps failing, the arrangement ends and we'll be in touch.
Your website isn't switched off because a payment bounced. We'll ring you first.
Refunds
If you have paid the wrong amount, paid twice, or set up a recurring payment you didn't mean to, ring us and we'll refund it. We would much rather you rang than wondered, and we do not argue about honest mistakes.
Refunds go back to the card that paid, because that's the only place Stripe will send them. They usually take a few business days to appear.
Where money has been paid for work already done, a refund is a conversation about the work, the same position as any other invoice.
GST and receipts
Amounts are in Australian dollars and include GST where GST applies. A receipt is emailed as soon as the payment goes through, quoting whatever reference you entered. If you need a tax invoice as well, ask and we'll send one.
Getting it wrong
If anything on this page is unclear, or a payment hasn't done what you expected, ring Anthony on 0419 169 550 before doing anything else. Nothing here is worth worrying about on your own.
